K12 Data Inc. Acquires EdLights from Junyo

DENVER, CO (Aug. 6, 2015). K12 Data Inc., a leading educational data analytics provider, announces the acquisition of EdLights, a division of the Silicon Valley company Junyo.

EdLights provides highly detailed views into the K-12 marketplace. This level of targeting allows sales and marketing teams to better pinpoint their prospects, thereby shortening the lead-to-sales process.

"Acquiring EdLights makes perfect sense for us," says Charles Isham, CEO of K12 Data. "First, our data has fueled EdLights analytics since their inception, so we're already in partnership and thereby a perfect fit. Add to that the impressive amount of funding information from RedRock Reports, Jenny House's organization, and EdLights becomes a very potent solution for all educational companies looking to effectively do business in the K-12 marketplace. It offers great value to our clients and augments our existing business."

Isham says that the acquisition will yield two products. EdLights will be a streamlined version of the current offering for use by education sales and marketing teams. EdLights Mobile will allow reps 24/7 access by delivering data to field sales reps on their mobile devices. Specific details of the products will be made available on the K12 Data and EdLights websites as the integration of the two companies continues.
